Ambar Shaikh
2nd Year PhD Student
Ambar is currently a 2nd Year Ph.D. student within the Dessent group, where her research is currently focusing on "Developing UV diode photodissociation with mass spectrometry as a new method for measuring photolysis breakdown''. Her PhD is being funded by the Wild Fund Scholarship, Department of Chemistry.

Ambar completed both her Undergraduate degree (Bsc) and Masters degrees (Msc) in Chemistry from K. J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce in India. In the 2nd year of her masters degrees she did a six-month internship program at "Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)", where she worked on "Monoclinic and pyrochlore modifications of rare earth titanates: Structure and photoluminescence properties".
