Rachel Little
2nd Year PhD Student
Ray is a part-time 2nd Year PhD at York, co-supervised by Prof. Caroline Dessent and Dr. Brett Sallach (Dept. of Environment and Geography, University of York).
​
Ray completed both her undergraduate degree and MSc (by Research) degree in Chemistry at the University of York. Her MSc research focused on the fate and transport of antibiotics in the environment, by developing an analytical method to detect a mixture of antibiotics at environmentally relevant concentrations.
​
Her PhD research aims to obtain a better understanding of the identity of antibiotic photoproducts. This research is being funded by the Department of Chemistry Teaching Studentship.
